Its been some time since i've played planeshift and i wanted to get back to it so i decided to create a new acount and download the game again on a new computer. I'm running windows 7 and downloaded the 32 bit version. The launcher will open and give me the screen with the options "quit, repair, settings, and play." It is my understanding that the repair option has replaced the update option from the steel blue version (if I'm wrong please tell me lol) but whenever i try to repair i get a screen that says a something like,
"Using mirror http://planeshift.clevertech.net/Updates/ for updaterinfo.xml
Using mirror http://planeshift.clevertech.net/Updates/ for updaterinfo.xml
There are no active mirrors! Please check the forums for more info and help!"
Shortly after this I get a message from windows saying,
"pslaunch.exe has stopped working
A problem stopped the program from working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is
available."
This also happens if i just try to play the game. For some reason i was able to create a char though, but this has happened ever since after the first day after i played. I have downloaded all the new drivers on the launch screen it suggests and that hasnt helped. I have also uninstalled and redownloaded and that hasn't helped either. Any help at all would be great! Sorry for the book of a post just thought I would be specific to help eliminate any confusion. Thanks.

right now only update servers are available and no repair servers. to update run pslaunch as administrator 2 times the second time it will ask you to update.

I have gone through and run as admin. quite a few times and it hasn't given me the option to update yet. Could it be something else? And im still getting the windows message.

try running it from terminal with --console

@Weltall: could you give the whole line to use? I lost my note on what exactly to type.....

run a cmd terminal as administrator, cd to planeshift folder then pslaunch.exe --console
