I\'ve spoken with acraig recently regarding the need for us to clearly differentiate the Fragnetics Planeshift server website from the rest of the Planeshift-related websites itself.
What we\'re short of is a nice design that looks different from the main Planeshift site and serves information specific to our server itself. It might be best then that we open up the design to interested members of the Planeshift community to propose some suggestions and take on this task itself.
I\'m not really sure what we can offer in return... Free Web Hosting? Errr, free e-mail addresses? Your name credited on the design? I\'m open to suggestions. If you\'re looking for crystals I\'ll have to talk to the Planeshift devs... Since it\'s not up to me to decide on something of that nature.
Right now Planeshift is concentrated on one server but from the way things are going I\'m not sure if there will be more around soon... Still, I think it\'s important that our server has its own unique identity and I\'m wondering if any of you web designer people are keen on taking up this challenge.
Due to some security considerations I can\'t give anybody direct FTP access to the Planeshift directories on the server as the Planeshift team might have sensitive data in them. What I can probably offer is a subdomain under Fragnetics, and if the design is approved we\'ll transfer it over to the Planeshift account on our server.
You can take advantage of PHP, and perhaps MySQL too if it\'s really that important. So what do you guys think?
