Hey all, I havent started playing planeshift yet due to an installation error but i was wondering what player housing is like in planeshift? Is it instanced? can i visit others houses?

Yes, we have several instances of a few house models. Characters are able to visit distinct houses if they are allowed to enter (doors can be locked so only chars with a matching key may enter). There is a public house which is always open, the residence of the (NPC) Octarch. Also the court house is sometimes available at public meetings, and the Red Crystal Den sometimes opens for leisure.

Obtaining a house is very hard, though: Only guilds may own a house (not individuals), auctions are sparse, and the auction prices can be extortionate.
