First problem is that my resolution isn't supported by your game. My computer requires 1366x768 or it's cramped and has funky black sections to either side of the game window.
My second problem is that when in-game, the ground directly beneath my feet and in about a 25ft radius around me appears to be sloped downwards to create a pit, and my character appears to levitate directly above it, where the ground should be. I cannot explain better than that, sorry. However, I suspect the secondary problem with disappear once my resolution issues have been solved as well.

Hey, if the resolution you want to play at is full screen you can launch PSLaunch and in settings chose full screen and it should be fine. If you need to specifically set the resolution then you can quickly manually change the resolution of both the PSLaunch and PSClient, this is for if you are on windows it may be slightly different for linux or mac. You need to find a file called psclient.cfg. There should be two on your computer, one in the installation directory C:\programfiles\planeshift (or where ever you installed it) and on in the user directory which should be either
for XP - c:\Document and Setting\<username>\Application Data\PlaneShift
or
for W7 - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Planeshift
You might need to show hidden files to see all the folders.
So once you have found the psclient.cfg file you can open them and change the following lines
Video.ScreenWidth = 1024
Video.ScreenHeight = 768
Just put the high and width that you want your game to play at and then save the file and load the game. If you have windows 7 you will need to open notepad as an administrator and then 'open' the psclient.cfg file and then edit and save it. It also advisable if you haven't in a while to update your graphic card drives.

1366x768 is supported. Select the aspect ratio 16:9 - and there it is.
But in general it is not recommendable to use fullscreen mode, there are issues switching to other applications.
Instead, better chose a window size which is close to your desktop size but still smaller.
