Title: Female Nolthrir robes in 0.5.7 causing problems
Post by: jenideandre on June 07, 2011, 04:42:22 am
When I put the magic robes on - which are quite beautiful - Karenina's hair falls off.  The whole back of her head.  Also, her legs disappear, from the knees to the ankles.  Feet and face are as adorable as ever.

I'm trying to put this on flyspray but I have never in my life dealt with a slower loading page (http://bugs.hydlaaplaza.com/flyspray/).  I'm still waiting for it to load, it seems I confused it by registering for an account.

Any other female Nolthrirs able to get the robes to work?  Any workarounds?  I am on a mac running OSX 10.6.7 and it's less than a year old and souped up (i.e. hardware (cards) and software able to handle the game).

Perhaps the best idea is for all Nolthrir to abandon clothing altogether?  ;D

Then they would become Dryads (http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Dryad)...

lol, love the answers...no help at all, mind you, and the problem persists...but I used this feature once to scare off another character, a male...had the robe on, with a cute steel helmet, was just chatting...suddenly tore the helmet off and swirled around...effective.

I hope it gets fixed though.  I look odd.   >o)

EDIT:  RR, I like the blue bikini look but somehow...I feel also odd running around with only that on, even if I wear my favorite boots at the same time...Dannae is the only one that effectively pulls it off I think.  But IN GENERAL, the tatty rags/naked look is a philosophical yes :)

ROFL   Love you Nina!        Maybe some day if I ever train again, I can get a robe of my own.... or buy one?

Getting BRW or BLW apprentice robes through way quests shouldn't be too hard.

lol LigH, I'll have to ask Esanor what he saw, I'm curious too!  Dannae, just speaking the truth, and you can borrow my robes any time...I don't think the quests are necessarily hard, Gilrond, but you have to train to a pretty high level to get the appropriate quests, right?  Maybe it is different for different ways...and Gilrond please excuse me for misunderstanding you in gossip yesterday, I'm really sorry  :-[  I was so upset about the little Amdeneir petition that I wasn't reading straight...

anyway       the outfit and the thread commenters  :)

No problem, Karenina, I figured you just didn't follow the gossip :) About the ways - I think some require lower level to get the robe.

So is the problem solved for you?

Talad, it is completely solved.  All body parts intact, visible and lovely with the cosy robe on.

and lovely without?

Despite the chilled character as Nolthrir ... most probably.  :whistling:

And the bracers between the feet (if wearing both bracers and robe) are a known bug of the animation system in CrystalSpace 3D, nothing to be fixed easily.

and very very lovely without...somehow blue green skin with long wavy blue hair...plus a diaphanous bikini type of undergarment, also pale blue (with a strategically placed unknown ornament on the front of the bottom part, like a jeweled padlock?? I have not figured that out but I wouldn't trade it for the world)...the whole thing is lovely, yes.  But I prefer the robe over it now.     I love that robe.

Maybe the armored riverlings ought to get some of those robes.

Oh, there is already someone working on fixing their skins. It appeared that they used a surprisingly different UV map for their texture... Be more bored, Jilata, much more. \\o//
