Title: Gray screen and crash on Win 7

I'm asking this on behalf of a relative...

He's downloaded PlaneShift from the site, installed it, registered an account, etc. The issue is that when he clicks the icon to run it, the screen goes gray and a windows dialog comes up saying that a problem was found and windows will try to find a solution. The OS is Windows 7. Not sure of all the other specs but it's a fairly new computer and he's sure that it meets minimum requirements.

Any ideas/workarounds?

hello
if you use window dont forget to check if you have "directx" (i know ps work whit crystal blue but i am sur this can help )
after you can check the "launcher" and see if you can change something inside ? and go on the irc for more help

um hulla that's opengl it runs on not crystal blue.

I'll try to find out more about his graphics hardware... I guess I could also have him run the client directly, instead of pslaunch.

I'm having him try running psclient directly, in case the problem is isolated to pslaunch. We'll see how that goes...
