Some questions that are emerging in my mind after the last Magic Fair.
If this was discussed before, I beg your pardon, and please let me know where's the thread.
So... we should consider Yliakum magic as related to classical greek elements: air, water, fire, earth, aether (or spirit, or whatever, introduced by aristotle), or related to another structure on its own, with 6 distinctive elements?
Crystal way uses the "purest" form of energy from the Crystal. Does it means that energy is in its raw form, unfiltered, or its most elaborated form, extremely filtered? and Dark way it's the opposite form? it's the absence or absorption of light, as the chakra "third eye" suggest? or it is actually an energy form?
the other ways are "refractions" of the crystal? this implies that are carrying less "energy"?
We should use an "exacle" for magic rituals? ;)

I've always thought of Crystal Way as unfiltered, pure magical energy, which nicely explains why it does so well in both offensive and healing rolls. Since the Azure Crystal provides the energy necessary for life, a CW mage can carefully apply measured amounts of energy to heal, or release it in heavy blasts to kill (since energy from the Crystal is deadly in high enough quantities, hence the reason for sending the worst baddies to the Crystal to execute them).

Personally I am expecting to find the rest of the crystals on the other levels, the blue crystal at the bottom of the central lake, the red crystal on forge. I'm not sure about azure way it seems to be doubled with crystal, perhaps that is why the eclipses occur ... when crystal and azure components of the azure sun interfere with each other canceling each other out for the most part. Brown crystal might be on Barn. I suppose azure could be at the surface level of the central lake. Who knows.

I don't remember completely, but I think it says in the IG description of Red Way that it draws its power from the plane of Chaos, which would probably be where the Red Crystal lies

I don't recall such thing as "red crystal" mentioned in Yliakum magic context. Unless it's a hint on RCD.

never heard of the dark crystal before they slapped it into the DR either. I'm probably wrong but it would make as much sense as what we have now.
