fill this poll to agree or disagree

We can certainly change up things on it to make it more presentable. It was a fairly major forum software update and the old theme did not work at all. If there any particular issues that you feel are outstanding we can take a look at those.

I suck at skinning stylistically, myself, but instead of creating rude polls I prefer to offer suggestions in threads working to improve the display. If I felt extremely ambitious I could download samples (http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/) and try to create my own.
I would smite this poll.

I personally don't really like it, and I cant see how many PMs I have unread unless I click on 'My Messages'. However it is far better than the old one!!
P.S This poll is stupid and pathetic, you have useless multi-choice answers, and nothing in between yes and no.
-
That's strange, for me the number of unread messages is showed between brackets beside "my messages" menu. What browser are you using?
-
it worked before now it doesn't anymore
-
I'm using firefox on linux and no # of messages show but there are no new messages to show so perhaps that is why.

Charming, The new GUI with the short span of time will be popular....

One of the most annoying issues, acraig, is the bright background of CODE blocks behind the text which is almost as bright. With my rather linear monitor brightness curve I am rather lucky to be able to read it, but people with the usual average consumer flatscreens with overbright gamma values will have more problems than me reading it.
bright on even-brighter

Yes i agree, i can barely read it at its current state.

Interesting, a CODE inside a QUOTE has dark text too; seems that the text color of CODE blocks is undefined and inherits the surrounding class.
