It's not done. I want to make the sand look messed up some and put some trees and a little patches of grasses... I think his shadow is messed a little too XD

cute Oni! I know it's a work in progress so I'm gonna point something out. Unless she's double jointed, there's something odd about the girl's thumb. Personally I can't extend mine past a 90 degree angle from the rest of my hand, let alone a 180 degree angle. (unless you're going for a cubist style, then i'll keep quiet)

looks like you're having fun with that tablet :)

Much more convenient this way! :)

And now for the horizon?

So far, I like the concept and style.

Without being disrespectful to your art,
what do you think about making her mouth and chin a bit more diminutive?

(I hope you don't mind about the trivial modification of your image... otherwise I will remove it at once.)

oh! groffel!

I have an idea for the sky, instead of making it the standard Earth blue, add in some hazy details of the dome ceiling, or if they are on a lower level, there should be distant high cliffs in the background.

This confirms my suspicions. "The Daughters of Xiosia" should be renamed "The Artists of Xiosia."

Exactly right Miomo! We've discussed many times in guild chat why it is artists seem to be drawn to DOX. Nearly all of us that I've known are artists of one kind or other, visual, musicians, writers, and actors. Even several of the original DOX founders (Siteya, Laurianna, and Aerynaia) performed in a band together and some did visual arts and writing.

For whatever reasons... the tradition has continued. Of course, I'm talking about RL here, but also many of us have chars. who RP artistic traits as well.

Oh, and Oni... love to see your drawings!

I'd like to see DoX increase their capacity for being matrons of the arts and crafts.

I think you're the person :D :D LOVE that idea Ara!

Okay I could go on forever with this background scenery but I think I'll stop here ...

I'm glad you did end up adding more to the scenery I think it really helped the composition.  I wonder if the swapping the larger and smaller cliff would look better? I think since the left side is the shoreline, the larger cliff would be further inland.  Love it either way!  \\o//

Well they're facing the river and the doorway to oja rd1... so I thought behind them (at a angle) should be the tefu hill on the right and the big middle hill that you have to walk around to get to Oja on the left...
