This is an idea I had for a new domestic creature called Dosor. They are raised in herds like cattle and are herbivores. They are raised for their skins because they shed every cycle a leathery shell-like skin that can be used to make armor and shields. They're about as big as a hippo and they resemble them a little. I drew them and Crimsa colored it all in.

I think this was said by someone other than me on the DoX forum, but I wish to reiterate it here. I like the fact that they provide for us by shedding their skin, and we don't have to slaughter them to make use of them. It's a nice touch. Also maybe they're the source of all the milk and cheese in the world.

my cats do this amazing thing where they lap up water with their tongues to drink, instead of sticking their whole face in the water. it's a marvel idea, I know, one that needs research and exploration, but perhaps these dosers could do the same?

These guys are so cute! I think Yliakum could use a little more creature creativity!

the darlingest creatures ever. The giant nose disk, which is what draws me to love pigs and piglets, is so beautiful. They have the look of sweet docile animals too (unlike cows which I've almost been stampeded by irl, honest promise, and who are not sweet looking even with a bell tied under their neck).
Love the dosors, would love to see them in game someday O--)
