Title: error on installation help

Could not display "/home/loz/Downloads/PlaneShift-v0.5.7-x86.run".
There is no application installed for executable files


this is the error i get for this game and regnum online, i dont understand it, i meet all requirements and am uptodate,

i even play 4story and diablo 2 thru wine lol so surely i can run a linux compat game

How are you trying to run the installer? Are you sure it got the executable attribute set after you downloaded it? Do you try to run it from a console or from a file manager?

Linux is not Windows. An application does not run because it has a specific extension, but because it has a file attribute set. Read the manual about: chmod a+x
