This may not work for one reason or another, but I'll give it a go... The mechanics for the guilds right now are basically dictatorships(Although, I realize that the definition can be slightly changed with giving permissions.)
By dictatorship I mean that there is one leader who gives people permissions... So even if he gave people full permissions, a guild with an inactive leader is fairly useless.
So, my 'wish' is for there to be different guild types. One perhaps a republic with multiple leaders. Another, a Democracy(I'm not sure if I'm using the right word) where if enough of the members vote it so, the leader can be kicked and another appointed. I also understand that these can technically be done within the guild's RP limits, but would be a nice little addition to mechanics imo.

it's already in the planned features just it's not easy to handle several things for it. starting with the interface... 300 leaders on the alliance tab is quite borked as an idea

The guild "leader" is not required to have most of the guild permissions exceptionally, (with little exceptions) all permissions can be granted to most ranks. In a guild of equals, you could possibly handle this position as "trustee" or "treasurer", the one to represent the guild in official cases, the one to keep the Master Key for the Guild House, etc.
But indeed, a leader who is not one of the most active members is not exactly a useful person to have not only privileges, but also responsibilities.

We don't give out anymore master keys for guild houses, so that's a problem less. Additionally it's possible to switch guild leader if missing for 6 month (iirc)

As someone who has a char in The One guild I'm looking forward to the democracy. Thanks.

There is no perfect system:
The disadvantage of democracy is: Those who are right can be outvoted.
Unfortunately, our governments know that perfectly well, too.

Yes there is! :whistling:
The Enkidukai live in packs, leaded by the strongest and most skilful male.

that doesn't seem a perfect system at all it's just the law of the strongest. which doesn't mean wittiest.

So there are no arguments from the lesser ones! Perfect!
