Title: Help us to update the PlaneShift Player Guide!

Hi,
the original of the PlaneShift Player Guide is here (http://www.planeshift.it/guide/en/index.html). This version is very outdated.

Someone started a new version of the guide on the pswiki here (http://planeshift.ezpcusa.com/pswiki/index.php?title=Players_Guide).

We think the best place is really the wiki, so it can be updated by anyone and remain very relevant, also we can add translations in various languages.

If you are willing to help in this effort, please contact us in IRC (http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=planeshift) , and ask for a pswiki account.

If you already have an account, you can proceed with the following:

• Verify that all sections of old html version are completely covered in the new pswiki. So we can just delete the old one and point to the wiki from the web site
• Update the pictures to the new version of PlaneShift client
• Update the text to explain better how each screen and command works
• Create a translated version of the pages in your native language

It must be a bit discouraging to take a suggestion (use the wiki) from the peanut gallery and then have nothing come of it. I had a look, and have an account at the wiki. I will try to have a go at it. Sadly documentation is one of the least sexy parts of development and is regularly substandard on open source projects.

I already contributed to the Wiki once ... (Enki fur previews). Unfortunately I don't have much spare time, but I believe I can offer some skills in image enhancements.

unfortunately my spare time is not so much, however I may help with some translations. I think it could help as well.
Also a pswiki account maybe useful as I'm undertaking other PS related task

Personaly I would love to help and written a few tech manuals internal for companies, and one external Google D-Star for Dummies, look for W8KWA and you will spot one of my works. (though its Word since then i switched to Libreoffice.  I just dont know enough about the In game world to do a decent job of writing a downloadable manual.  And well I dont write wiki's.  Sorry.

So ran across this today and tried the link to the pswiki to see if I could help update it and it was dead. Maybe the forums need to be wiped when so much of it is outdated and or no longer working. Say anything older than a year gets burned to a cd disk or where ever you archive this stuff to. This is a common problem with the main website also.  I am willing to help in these areas too since I completed the paperwork and sent in to help and have not been given anything when I have asked in the past.
