I'm not sure if its a Just me, or a glitch or a full on bug. I dont see it referenced anywhere.
My charcter is equiped with chainmail armor. Its on him when I exit.
When I re-login, either from quiting or to just PS launch and log back in to the same character, the following occures.
At the Select Character screen, the armor gets painted on him, looks fine. I login.
Now his armor apears for less than a secound then vanishes from view. In the invitory he is still wearing the armor. But all of the view points he isnt. I have to take the armor off, drop it back in invatory, and re apply it, and its back.
Am I the only one that this happens to?
Is there a way to fix it so it doesnt?
Is this a Full blown bug?
And if so is there any known work arounds. Thanks
Current Version of Planeshift x64
Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit (does the same in gnome or unity)

it is a known problem with enkidukai just live with it, until it is fixed.
-
I've created a shortcut for my fenkis that removes and then equips all their armor just to make it easier on myself. A little extra step on logging in, but not a big hassle. Problem is, I've noticed from other's screenshots, that the armor doesn't always show up for other players. That's right, I performed an entire wedding ceremony without pants!
-
I've done the same as Aramara. It's a small inconvenience, but nothing major. :P
-
All right... thanks folks... one of thoes things I had been wondering about and it had been nagging me. I'll see what i can do about setting up a short cut for it. I thought it was funny that it only effected armor not my helm.
-
All the shortcut needs to be is the lines to /dequip everything, then /equip for all the slots. You can toggle it back and forth when you log in twice, and it'll equip your armor visibly.
-
I personally find this to be the best glitch of the whole game *trollface*
-
*Facepaw* Tessra does enjoy her nude Menki...
-
Thats what I ended up doing
/dequip <location> <name>
/equip <location> <name of armor (no underscored>
Repeat for each position, put it up under one button and poof, its bearable. Thanks for the tip.

Yep, that's the trick.

Well thought I might post this for those searching for information on it.
At the last dev meeting, they know the problem, they fixed the problem, and when the psclient gets finally tested and rolled out we will have our fix.
They are looking for testers, need SVN server and knowledge of how to do it, seek them out in the irc if interested.
(knows almost 0 about svn, or I would.)
-
Glad to hear they've fixed it. Looking forward to seeing it in the update.

/me requests an immediate unfixing of Caraick's armor!
-
;D Because it would cause a general state of humiliation for the menki, I think Weltall should carry through with this threat.

Nuuuuuuuuu! :o
/me blames Weltall vehemently!!!

:'( Hmph! I don't feel bad about running to Haraun now!

I hope that's a mighty big pocket, as I'm coming in too! [since im sure you have Caraick in there too, and I miss him!]
