Hey,
I recently started playing the flute (not ingame, for real). Now I'd like to play some of my favorite ingame music, so I'm looking for the score for "Tavern De Kada-El" and "In the Dark Town" (others welcome as well), obviously I'm most interested in the flute parts.
I promise a recording in return (as soon as I had the time to practise ;) )
So maybe if you have written down some of it because you're one of the awesome people who can figure out a note by hearing, or if you just happen to have them for some reason, I'd really appreciate it if you could give them to me.
Greetings, Mithodin

Unfortunately, I doubt that the original musician is still available.
I already tried to listen and hear the notes from the music. It worked only basically so far; you can try to meet Solita or Esanor for a copy.
Some elements cannot be used in game easily, like {trillers/warbles/quavers?}, an eighth note is the shortest recommendable at 120 bpm. :surrender:

well, as I said, I want to play them on my real, physically present flute, not an ingame one.
Could you maybe send me the file directly with an email?

Not available at all? The name of the author (from the file): Dana Hawkes DiAnda. Try searching by name.
UPDATE: Here is what I found, if it helps you:

There is a contact page on the site. Try contacting the author directly.

Thanks for the tip, I wrote an E-Mail to the authors. :-) Lets see what they are prepared to give away.

If the author will share the notes under allowing conditions, can you put it on PS wiki somewhere please?

Hey, I made a fairly simple transcription of Tavern De Kada-El that should be playable on flute, I guess. However, you'll either need a program that can load MusicXML, or sign up on the site I made it on >.< (the notation editor I would have normally used doesn't work on my OS at the moment -.-).
Here's the MusicXML: http://www.mediafire.com/?gwdq53zwn1jtouj
And here's the link you need to sign up for: http://www.noteflight.com/scores/view/23a75930ebf9dfb0a890fc04000a45e7694f0864
Hope that helps!

This is as much as I was able to do; it works with lute (lira and flute may be too restricted in their note range).
Tavern1.xml (http://www.ligh.de/PlaneShift/Tavern1.xml)
I created it on the source level. I wish I understood how chords work, so I might do something similar to trillers.

thanks a lot. It seems I'm missing two notes (Cis and D) to be able to play it, but I will learn ;-)

So, I have been practising and now there is a recording. I'm playing on my DiZi, which is a Chinese bamboo flute. It is only the first part, but I can play all of it on my western traverse flute.
This is my recording (http://zankt.net/~luigi/tavern_de_kada_el.ogg)
