Basically, I'm just assuming that the ground isn't supposed to look like it's being stretched downward, into the depths of the land. So, is there any reason why it would be displaying itself this way for me?
Who knows? Maybe this is simply the planes shifting.

Thanks, in advanced.

I bet your PC has an intel graphic chipset. Their OpenGL drivers are already notorious for such nonsensical bugs. This was already complained before.

So that's what that was. I was wondering if I was the only one that had that problem.
-
Yep, I have an integrated intel gphx in my laptop and have that problem. Nothing that can be done unless it's fixed by intel.

Aye, I have an intel graphics card.
However, the ground is no longer stretching. Dunno what happened, but that bit is all solved.
However, now I simply cannot play the without it crashing.
After reading some, I think this is also thanks to my graphics card.
Not the first time I've encountered problems with games thanks to it.

sometimes the ground stretches for me, sometimes it doesnt. It seems to at least dampen somewhat after awhile, just learn to ignore it is all i can say. (or go in i think its Low or Lowest? Ground doesnt stretch in one of those i think)

keep the drivers up to date from the intel site.

I have a laptop with intel integrated graphics and this same thing (stretching and frequent crashes) happens to me on windows. But when I run it on Linux everything works fine. So if you're willing to consider dual booting, there's an option.
