Hi,
I've just updated MyPlane so it can upgrade your old accounts. In particular it updates the password from md5 to sha256 security, which is now required for the new ps client.
If you have an old account, which gives you an incorrect username/password, login to myplane (http://planeshift.subhosting.net/myplane), then login in game (needs to be done only one time).

Thank you Talad.I logged into Myplane and then the game and my old account now works.
Although it appears my inventory is empty except equipped items,my quest history and skills are also gone. But at least i have the account, and can rebuild the chars again.
Once again,Thanks.Much appreciated, and this will make it a lot easier for others with old accounts, when they come back.

It doesn't seem to work for me :(

Kesel, can you login to MyPlane? If not, then the problem is another one, and I suggest you to use the password reset form.
-
Is it possible to get the email address in an old account changed?
-
Only if you can prove somehow the old email address is yours, for example sending us an email from it.
-
How can one send you an email from an account which does not exist anymore, to have the game account changed exactly because this email account is lost? Sometimes your logic is ... unique.
The only way to do what you expect would then be to "criminally" fake email headers to make you believe an email was sent from a non-existing email account...
I'd rather suggest to try to prove it by combining the old email address and real name with details about characters the game account contains.

What LigH said....
I would like to get my current email used, rather than the one I no longer have. Must be a simpler way...?

Agreed. While I'm very glad to have the account back,I no longer have that email account, and would also like to update to a current email addy.
Personally,I always thought using email addy as account name was a bad idea, for this very reason. The interwebz are constanly evolving, and we consumers evolve and change with it.
Much better would be just making an account name, same as we do with password, and just have email addy as contact info, which could then be updated as needed.
Just my 2 tria on the matter.
