There is something seriously wrong with the system if that becomes routinely necessary. The manufacturer may not agree but that is a different problem. :)

Sometimes, the reportedly non-working device becomes working again by turning it 'off'.... ;)

One of my favourites: "Hotline? The internet doesn't work." (... after minutes of trying to trouble-shoot with unspecific responses:) "Ah, by the way — we have a blackout in the whole town quarter."
