Welcome.
The reason might be a low-feature OpenGL driver? Do you rely on Microsoft's graphic drivers originally shipped with Windows (via online update), or did you install a recent AMD/ATI driver (which version exactly)?

AMD Radeon HD 6320 Graphics
Driver Provider: AMD
Driver Date: 09/08/2011
Driver Version: 8.892.0.0
There are a lot of ATI-related DLLs.

Hmm, those drivers are almost two years old.
Try installing a new one:

I checked for driver updates via both the Windows Device Manager software and AMD's updater software installed on the computer. Apparently I have the most recent driver.
EDIT: I unplugged and re-plugged the USB mouse, and I unchecked full-screen mode. I have a mouse now! (Yeah!) I think it's because I took it out of full-screen mode. I'll just expand the window pseudo-full-screen. Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to playing.

An Enki might have caught the first mouse :-X

No, it went into one of the many mouse holes we have now in Yliakum. Recently I saw one near the saffron field close to the forest.
