I like to see grubby evil little guy at the start of the death realm laugh and welcome people back.  Just a little something to rub it in your face that you died.   ;D

We had one character trying to collect a fee to leave. Of course, you need to be strong enough to enforce it. ;D

The "Death Guardian" used to be there. Now it is at the end of some bridge.

Or... could you role play that character yourself- adding your own personal touches.


For a bad guy, the DR is a great place to do road blocks, heckle the deceased, or or whatever. For goods, it might be a great place to play some sort of guide or something. For neutrals, some sort of bard or minstrel could be quite interesting.
