Title: More formatting for in game books.

It dawned on me that books could be made more appealing if some options were added, such as formatting, alignment, colors... Of course, kept IC. So the only inks available could be dark red, navy blue and default black; maybe bold, italics and underlines too; or we could be able to justify, align left or right (for signatures, for example), or centered. Also, more sizes of letters would be desirable too, like small, medium, and large.

Also, the current editor sucks. Sorry for whoever coded it and for the guy who has to fix it (if it's ever changed). Can we have an actually good one, please?

The text when you're editing it should look the same as when you're reading it.  Enough "guess and check" formatting.

I agree that it would be nice to have more formatting. Here is a list of new feature I would like to see when someone has time to create them  :).

I also think books are much improved since first coming into the game. Two big things for me is that they read like a book and not a long scroll and now we have publicly editable books. Also we have several colours of books too.

Agreed, page breaks and center tags alone would already be a big help.

  • Page Breaks or Editor that represents final book
  • Various Text Sizes (even if only small, medium & Large)
  • Coloured Text
  • Alignment (left/centre/right)

When the books were made two pages I asked about adding the basic formatting so i could spend some formatting all the current books into a 'real book format'. The functions I asked for were all mentioned here but there was no interest from those above at the time. But the guy who did it (I forget his name, naeg?) said it would be possible to add line/page breaks not too hard.
