Title: problems installing on ubuntu 13.10
Post by: Tuathanach on January 16, 2014, 03:15:34 pm
When I try installing on ubuntu 13.10. I get splash screen and language selection box then nothing.
This happens when running using sudo or not.
Terminal has this error
Code: [Select]
(main.tcl:2227): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_window_set_icon_list: icons too large

Probably no solution, just a little note, but this error message is not too uncommon, it seems: Some Python or Gtk installations (I may have misunderstood details) may have issues supporting an SVG icon due to a limited pixbuf... Not sure if installing a newer Python or Gtk version would help, though.

By the way: You are not alone... (http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/viewtopic.php?t=369942) (italian forum post from 2010)

I'm running this on a standard build of ubuntu 13.10. It does work on this distro.
