You need to right click on PSlaunch and select "run as administrator".

If you are interested in the launcher restarting itself with required privileges, please vote for Bugtracker task PS#6250 (http://hydlaaplaza.com/flyspray/index.php?do=details&task_id=6250) to raise attention. Or keep asking engine developers about this feature in DEV Q&A's.

I'm not quite sure why this is like this, my user account for windows is fully privileged yet I was required to run as admin anyway. It might have something to do with the code execution protection routines in windows.

Members in the group "Administrators" still don't have all privileges Windows may grant. Access to the "Program Files" folder(s) is a privilege of the "Administrator" account which you can't log in interactively.

Hi, first time here, Uh...

I have the same issue but I'm using an imac!

It says updates are available if I restart the launcher as administrator when all I know is that if I hold command then it's basically the same thing. Well, nothing's working. I downloaded the torrent from the download page. Anybody know what to do?

Hello, did you exctracted it out of the .DMG file you downloaded? The DMG is like an ISO image and it's read only. Install the game in your Application folder if you didn't already.

updating never worked for me on mac... I usually click on repair and you get the updated files anyway. No idea why.. but it works this way.
