Title: [solved]Installer not running - Archlinux
Post by: HolyPhoenix on May 14, 2014, 08:25:34 pm
I made the downloaded file an executable (chmod +x).  Then I tried to run the installer (./PlaneShift-v0.6.1-x64.run) and it just gave me the next line in the console.  No errors were shown.  Any clue what might be going on or what steps I can take to troubleshoot it?

Thanks!

The installer just died quietly?

That's the 64 bit installer, I assume you have a 64 bit machine?

Yes, it just died quietly.  And yes I have the 64 bit version of Archlinux, just double checked with uname -a to make sure that I didn't do my install a couple months ago incorrectly.

Edit:  It's running now.  How strange.  I think all I did was reboot my computer since I tried yesterday.
