Title: Question About Children....
Post by: Tidebringer on June 02, 2014, 02:50:08 am
How would you RP a child? Would you put in a section about him/her/kra and RP their part using /my?  ???

My character is... Expecting.  :-[

I played the kid on the character that was taking care of them until they were able to talk, then eventually used the alt I had to reserve the name. It's pretty important to highlight the fact that they're a child character in both the description and in your initial emotes with people since, last I checked, there will be no child avatars in the game - and not everyone reads descriptions.

I have seen different ways to play children. One is the parent referring to a virtual character with emotes. Another is to actually play a character as child.

Thanks for the input.  :)
I'll have to think about it, so I can decide what to do.  :D

using /me /my commands for infant-toddler age works perfectly well. remember there is no limit to the length of your post, so within one post you can include both your character and the child's actions. once you get the hang of it, it becomes pretty fluid.
