I am certain there was a similar thread somewhere, having run across it a week or two ago, but I can't find it. Plus I want to brag outrageously and get hammered down by other peoples gloating.
I found a masterwork amber-encrusted battle axe of ways. Full value 4825052 Less 20% 3860042.
What is the most valuable thing you have ever found?
-
By "found" do you mean looted?
Because I lost a masterwork amber-encrusted battle axe of the ways just the other day.
:whistling:
EDIT: Forgot to answer the question! A kikiri feather on the road to Ojaveda.

The most valuable item I ever lost was a "Crystal-Steel Balanced Dagger of Clear Thought", a goodbye gift from Shaba Acidheart. I blame weltall's item conversion script for its loss...
The most valuable I found was certainly a "Holy Helmet" among half a dozen of helmets a GM dropped near the Korogan gate, in times when they were not yet craftable. I collected them all, asked in the Help channel about it, returned them, and was given one as "reward" for honesty. Erelenga Karal still wears it.
@ bilbous: The monetary value is certainly impressive. Years ago I looted several "double-/triple-named" items, values of hundred-thousands were not uncommon; but millions are indeed a rarity.

Having written a guide about the "valuation of rare items", it seems I should leave a comment.

This is nice, Bilbous. Considering NPC-trade, masterwork and amber-encrusted are the most valuable adjective and prefix, respectively. If it was a broadsword with another suffix, the NPC value could increase by roughly a factor of three.
According to my guide, the most valuable items are those that yield the highest physical attack power. I called them brute helms and brute weapons, with even higher suggested values for trade among players. These days, however, there is probably too much "inflation" for tria to be used when trading rare items.

I have a half-finished sword crafted by Talad himself.

Diamond crystal.
-
Perfect Trigrain-steel Claymore of Talad's Arm, if I recall correctly. Sarko said it was worth 9M.

Also, pics or it didn't happen.

You still have this giant crusher? Could be fun to test the peak damage with a good helm and secondary weapon or shield.

Looks like cool and valuable! Since it's an item: how much for it? ;D

So that's what you're calling it now?

Most valuable item ever found?

Actually, pretty sure it's the Talad-crafted items, just for rarity if not quality.
