Title: Need a GM to move my Character

My character's name is Demagul Riwe, and I just redownloaded PS onto my computer. The problem is, I am right in Harn's smith area and it crashes right after loading the world every time. I've tried clearing my cache, turning down the graphics quality, and a bunch of other stuff. Would it be possible for a GM to move my character to a less-busy area? Thanks!

Hi Demagul (Erelenga here...).

Which operating system? Which graphic chipset?

If you start the client with console output (detailed instructions will follow after you tell us your OS), is there output giving a guess about the reason of the crash?...

Did you use a modified GUI skin in your previous installation? (This setting may still exist in your user account data.) May that skin need an update to be compliant to the current client version? In the meantime, maybe return to the default "elves" skin.

Good news! Problem solved! I just turned my graphics down to Low or Lowest (forget which), moved to a less populated area, and brought the graphics back up to Medium. Everything's working fine now! I'm so glad to be back!
