Hello !
I try to compile PlaneShift from sources on Slackware Linux.
I follow the steps in bash.sh script and I successfully download all thing from CVS.
I use make instead of jam for compiling CS because the configure-jam script hasn\'t detect libpng ... missing some -lz or -lm tags .. but I don\'t know where to put them :) .... the final result .. everything is ok .. but some fonts and PLIMP :(( ... PLEASE someone help me .. becouse I spend 3 days in trys :)

P.S. .. I also try the bin version and it look like everything is OK with the game start but when I try to make a charackter .. client exit with Segmentation fault message ... like last line in this try.
and one more thing ....
My computer is: AMD 1000 Mhz 256MB DDR RAM and Riva TNT 2 32MB
56 kbit/s Dial-Up modem ... can I play the game with this video card or modem ? ... PLEASE HELP .. I think I very like this game and I have to run ... I don\'t want Window$ .. I don\'t like it. If I can\'t run the game on my favourite Slackware .. I can try the Gentoo Linux but what :) I know you can help me ... how can I make CS to compile with \"plimp\" I also try to get plimp.so from bin version but isn\'t compatible :((
