I think there should be special abilities for each skill as in each skill can only learn a certain type of non-magic command ability, which makes each different race different. These were taken from FFX but I think they\'d be good skill specific abilities. Thus taking very long to learn all abilities because there are so many skills.
(All these abilities can be only used in battle and are only for that point in time when you are having that fight, they can\'t carry over to the next fight).
Flee: Aid the party\'s escape from battle.
Pray: Restores some of the party\'s HP.
Cheer: Raises the party\'s Strength and Defense.
Aim: Raises the party\'s Accuracy
Focus: Raises the party \'s Magic and Magic Defense.
Reflect: Raises the party\'s Evasion
Luck: Raises the party\'s Luck, thereby enhancing the party\'s Accuracy, Evasion, and critical hit rate.
Guard: Intercept physical attacks that are directed at any party member.
Sentinel: While maintaining a defensive stance, intercept physical attacks that are directed at any party member (Cannot block magic attacks or all party attacks).
Steal: Steal items from an enemy.
Threaten: Immobilizes the target with fear.
Entrust: Transfers the character\'s entire Overdrive charge to an ally\'s guage, adding to the total.
Copycat: Mimic the action of the last ally to take a turn in battle.
Doublecast: Cast two black magic spells in a row.
Bribe: Pay off enemies in return for safe passage and items (use more tria for better results).

BUt you forget your finishing move, so the commander locks you up in a giant prison that can bore itself into the ground!

Anyways, the point of all this is, we can\'t just copy everything we like in other games. We have to stay original. Besides, the combat in PS isn\'t turn based and uses a whole different system then Final Fantasy. Also, you don\'t have to post these things, because a lot of the devs are great RP game fans and also have played FF and also know that these abilities exist. Therefore it\'s useless to post them here. Be original, and creative.

Fine, I changed everything and these are not copyrighted........I made these up on my own so I can be so called \"more original\" and yes it was my mistake before but now since its my problem, I\'ll try and fix it.
Exonerate: Prevents enemy from escaping.
Richman\'s Decision, in exchange for 1 hexa you gain 10HP, e.g...2 hexa gains you 20HP.
Clairvoyance: All of your combat statistics gain +2 boost for the remainder of the battle.
Gratis: During battle you may exchange your life to revive one member in your party.
Jingoist: All members in your party gain +1 boost to combat statistics, for the remainder of the battle, in exchange you lose 50% of your maximum HP.
Ramshackle: For the remainder of the battle you may do 2x the normal damage done by physical attack but you have a 45% chance doing
-1% damage for the remainder of the battle.
Mystify: Enemy becomes slower there\'s a chance it might attack itself.
Despotize: When a member cast this command he/she has a 20% of instant kill on the monster and 80% he/she will instantly be killed.
Recalcitrate: Your party can drain 2% of damage if as long as he/she is in full defensive attack mode.
Thievery: Steal items from an enemy.
Rejuvenate: All members in your party regain 5% of lost HP.
Satirize: Enemy Monster\'s combat statistics take a -2 for the remainder of the battle.
Tame: Try to gain control of Monster.
Tarry: Even if you have no more HP you will be kept alive for as long as a 1 minute.
Venerate: You gain bonus Experience in the battle you just fought.

I like your ideas Kuiper, perhaps you gain one class-specific skill and one race-specific. Any thoughts on how it should be used? Perhaps like in DAoC where you have special abilities on hotkeys:
Run: 1
Hide: 2
Sword: 3
Heal: 4
etc.

Kuiper : there will NOT be attack phases !
The combat will be in real time !
So many of your \"ideas\" cannot be implemented...
