Title: Retrieve very old forum password.

Hi! Let's say in a purely theoretical way ;) that I created a new account on this forum because my old one has been used for the last time ...uhm... 11 years ago and it's linked to an email address that doesn't exist anymore (which means I can't retrieve my old password).
Is there a way I can get control of my old account again (old account name is identical to this, minus an underscore)? Hate duplicates.

You are not the first one asking this... only few developers would be able to try, best chances to ask are probably in the IRC (http://www.planeshift.it/IRC) channel #planeshift-gmtalk on the Freenode network.

But sometimes devs and GMs take care of things from here too, so maybe a response will be posted here.  Especially for a serious oldbie :) .

I guess the problem is how does one prove that one is the real true bonnet, and not an evil impersonator?  But I guess the people in charge can figure it all out.  Hope you get your old account back.

Oh well, let's see. Don't think I can run IRC at work and going on holiday soon, but maybe I will look into this again when I'm back. Or maybe someone will have an idea in the meantime ;)

First thing I thought of. Just need to post enough messages in the forum before being able to do so. Didn't really feel like spamming around just for the sake of it ;)
