Did anyone try it? I'm playing it now, and it's a marvelous RPG: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/04/07/collaborative-storytelling-in-pillars-of-eternity/

Yep, excellent game. Pretty much Baldur's Gate with a fluid gameplay and great scenario.
Although I have to say the price tag is still a bit high considering how limited the replay value is.

I bought the game + OST on GOG for $60, it's kind of pricey for a game but developers deserve it. Not only it's a good RPG with beautiful art and interesting story with tons of writing, it's also a crowdfunded project. And the game was released DRM-free with Linux version on day one. I don't mind paying that much since it has a lot of value. In other cases I might consider it too high and wait for later sales (like Divinity: Original Sin which still didn't release the Linux version until now).

I can't view RPS (blocked on my router). I've seen gameplay though. Once I'm done with my backlog I'll get to it...

Chanters and Ciphers are new classes in the game (that authors created). Quite interesting and original.

Wait, they crowdfunded, got $4m and now sell the game for $40+? Wow.

And what would you expect? $40+ is OK for such game. It's not some mass market junk for you.
