I feel that some of the races could definitely be slimmer.
The Xacha, Nolthrir, and Enkidukai are described in their texts as being slim. However, looking at the concept art, the Xacha look just like Humans, while the Nolthrir and Enkidukai look even more muscular than Humans, to the point of loking like very tall Dwarves.
The Nolthrir, in particular, seem to be a contradiction. Their concept art simply does not reflect their textual description in regard to their body structure. And the males are even more confusing (both the Nolthrir and the Dermorians alike), because their concept art displays them as having bodies one would be likely to see in the World Wrestling Federation. Kind of strange.
I do not mean to criticise -- but I suppose that is what I am here for. I am an Elf, after all.

Enkidukai isnt wat i would like it too look like..i prefer the drawings of it
-
Indeed. It seems that the developers/artists/modellers wish them to be feline, yet they are altogether too bulky to pass as feline. They seem more like fluffy domesticated Persian cats.
-
lol, I agree entirely, I have a pic of my Dnd persona that I think more fits the description, lemme see if I can look it up somewhere...
-
With an alias like \'Tygerwilde\' I believe that I understand perfectly. [Smirks]
-
ok, please don\'t bash me too hard if this don\'t work... never had to do this before...

*gives Taerlhain Limeryn questioning glance...*
\"now what exactly did that mean?!?\"
!?!
-
It gives me an idea of the appearance of your character.
-
Muuhaha. Looks like you\'ve both got quite a sense of humor. Fluffy domesticated cats. lol. You\'re right though. Description texts and concept art should be more alike. Question: in the final product, will their be concept art in character creations or 3d renderings of the character ?
[EDIT]: spelling

I have been wondering the same thing, as well, Solaire.
-
well, apparently that didn\'t work, so lets try this url out for size

a friend of mine did that up, and he\'s got it copyrighted, so it would be unwise for someone to go spreading that around, ya know.
-
Quite.
-
personally I love nicks style, here\'s one of my wifes\' character, silken moonlight
warning: mild fairy nudeness inside

-
Not my favourite style, but I do like it quite a bit. Thank you for sharing.
-
i like my enkidukkai character as he is ...but the humans need some change in their apperance, the dwarfs are ok, the kran should IMHO be bigger, and there\'s a big lack of elves
-
Ewwwwwwww I\'m quite quite happy there are no elves in there. Will atleast keep the Legolas, Legolaz and the types out. Will be left with Gandolf and the others. heh
I like the cats their cool
-
In regard to the Elves, I was speaking strictly about the concept art shown on the Character Creation screen.
Kieryn, what? There are Elves, silly. The Nolithrir and the Dermorians. What are you talking about? [Raises an eyebrow]
-
Perhaps he was talking about the concept-art on the official homepage?
-
That is what I am talking about, as well.

I agree on all acounts, the male humans shouldnt have beards (im a hypocryte, i know i need a shave).
I agree with the Kran comment too, although broader not necessarily larger)
I also like the dwarf models, they really are great and the enkidukai, the elf woman as has been already said only really has a prodlem with the face and uglyness.
But i really dont think the enkidukai needs to be or should be changed.
(i did find time to edit her skin but i quit when trying to alter the mask shape, was too frustrating ill leave it to the professionals)
-
I do actually think that most humans should have beards. Elves are supposed to be the ones without facial hair.

Ah, reminds me of an old thread...

Well, all very intersting and all, but if a dev or another all-knowing entity should stumble on this thread, could you tell us
Question: in the final product, will their be concept art in character creations or 3d renderings of the character ?
Thanks in advance.
