Title: Jumping the wall
Post by: killer bob on June 13, 2003, 06:37:39 am: Something i find hilarious is that you can jump the wall, although it lags badly when you face the city, but, onetime, i found a ruby out there! :) hehe, its kinda funny walking out there, so, does anyone have any speical experiances with jumping the wall?

i\'ve been over many walls ...even over the city walls, and even on the city walls itselves (the high ones) ...ask in the game, and people will teach you how to climb on and over rooftops and (city) walls :)

Getting behind the bar, through the metal bars when underground, to the so called \'forbidden doorway\' and on top of the temple are a few more you could add to your list of places to visit when you get the hang of things :D

P.S. the first time i jumped the wall i promptly ran back under the city and got stuck, lagged to hell, game crashed, and got so low fps that i couldnt type /spawn so i lost my character :D

Post by: Skain on June 17, 2003, 09:23:30 am: to get behind the metal bars strafe sideways while running and jump as u hit them. usually takes about three attempts, if u dont do it before ten your doing something wrong.

Where are these \"bars\"? I\'m a total newbie with only 20-something crystals...

yea, there\'s nothing wrong with havnig little to no crystals ...i\'ve been around for quite some time (well, relatively looking), and i only have 27 rubies and 5 emeralds ...but it did solve the quest (i won\'t give any hints on the forums!) :]

Jumping the walls... I never tried, but there is something in the game that I in my opinion is very wierd: there\'s a way out of the dungeon that leads to a wooden bridge with a huge abyss below it. If you jump into the abyss you don\'t die... but it\'s very high! :-)

well i did a similar thing only once ...i gave all my gems on the floor (i think it was a bit more then 10 rubies and around 4 emeralds) for a noobie to learn how they look like and how you pick them up ...well, the server was a bit foo, so these gems nevre turned up again ...gone :]
