Title: Server Keeps Crashing??
Post by: linuxr0x on June 16, 2003, 10:56:19 pm
Hello, I\'m pretty new to this, but I\'m getting annoyed that the server seems to disconnect me all the time.  I just get booted out of the game, and then when I try to re-connect, it says that the server is unavailable, and tells me to check my net connection...  I\'m not sure why it would do that, but I know it\'s not my net connection.

Also, if any gurus know anything about OpenGL on Linux Redhat 8, I\'d love to know how to configure it properly for:

ATI Radeon 9700 Pro with fglrx driver from ATI\'s website.  (June 16, 2003) for XFree86 4.2.1
I have a feeling that my options aren\'t working since DRI and OpenGL are both supposedly enabled.  In Planeshift and other games (that aren\'t even networked) I get 0 - .5 fps, or so.  Sometimes 10 FPS but rarely.  I\'ve been looking around on opengl.org and xfree86.org, but I can\'t seem to find anything specific to my problem.  Any resources would be gladly accepted.

Thanks!
