Hi guys!
I'm new to the game, and have enjoyed it so far. I'm still trying to figure out what to do, and I haven't found anyone to role-play with yet(even though I connect at weird hours).
Is there anything a beginner should know? And most importantly, where are the best places to find role-players? I'm quite new at role-playing in game, so my role-play is probably not the best, but I'm really willing to learn .

Best time to find RP would be during american hours, i believe its still most active tz.best placed to find RPers would be in cities, exspecially hotspots like harquists smith , tavern etc. Hope this helps!

I'm at GMT+4 so I think american time is gonna be hard to achieve tho :p .

Add me to your buddy list and send me a tell sometime and I can introduce you to some people. I'm always up for RP so don't worry about interrupting what I'm doing if anything I'd be ever so grateful for the excuse to leave the kitchen and take a break from baking/cooking.  ;D

Welcome Anaximandre! Feel free to add me in your list as well. I am in the U.S. but one never knows!!!

Hydlaa is probably the best place to be, but honestly... randomly finding folks in game can be challenging with current in-game numbers... so a hopping buddy list and keeping an eye on the forum is good.

Good way to find RP is to go to  the in game ooc chat channel and ask if anyone is intrested to RP, it might be faster than running aroung trying to find someone. I recommend to join IRC (http://www.planeshift.it/IRC), thought it's not so active and there's mainly old players but still might prove usefull.

PS. Game is also active at european nights ;)
