To say it straight and simple, i just wanted to have some roleplay. I don't have much intrest or time to actively play anymore so i thought it's more simple to just ask if anyone is intrested than hunting for hours to get a little RP. I'm open to pretty much any RP topic. So anyway if you have any intrest, you can message here, either on this topic or PM, what is more confortable for you. I am also (more) reachable via irc (#planeshift).

*I start taking off your clothes* OwO whats this
I think you're not going to be very lucky nowadays. Your best hope is the weekly market.

LOL
Well damn, guess i won't roleplay then
... :@#\

There is RP and several RPers. Just log on and ask in gossip sometimes that's the best way.
-
I am aware i could log into the game and ask ingame. But the point was that i recently moved to using archlinux and i still don't have any games and i don't fancy installing any. But if there is some RP then i could install, but not really bothering to just come to check you know.

There is role play in the game. It just varries on when and where depending on who is online and who you meet. But yes people role play all the time. It's one of the things that sets Planeshift apart from a lot games. Sure the player base is a bit low, but there IS role play.

I think i didn't say clearly what i ment to say but whatever.

Have some wine and play on Linux, Dilihin?
A little wine can open doors, you know.
-
Actually i just installed wine, but mostly for VNs. Guess i just don't have as much time as vefore for gaming

wine not needed to play on linux... I run Arch Linux and play planeshift easily. The only real difficulty will be the video hardware (which is not terribly difficult these days). For example in my case I have nVidia Optimus configuration with Intel video, you have to install bumblebee and nVidia drivers and then launch pslaunch with 'optirun pslaunch' to get the best performance. But the Intel card works just fine and can run planeshift without difficulty.
Sadly I haven't had time to play recently, or at least not much, not that anyone would notice, last time I logged in there were only 2 other players.

Wine and PlayOnLinux make it possible/easier to play Windows games on linux... that's all I was really pointing at.
-
Guys i'm not that stupid, i know i don't need wine to play on linux, but you know, pretty many games require it.

Well, gee, Mishka said that we should move (http://207.244.96.64/PlaneShift/smf/index.php?topic=43328.msg482637#msg482637) all that DR speculation on why Londris is such a dopey downer to the DR itself, and Gedundk is moping about in the DR right now. I'll let you know the next time I am playing.

There is no active roleplay in this game. That used to be the case. You could log in and immediately start roleplaying with someone. Didn't even have to look far or metagame to find it. There are no plots, no dramas, no adventures. All that's possible is occasional two-person roleplay.
The roleplay in this game is dead.
