Title: what does ooc stand for in the roleplaying forum?

its out of character they use it on ALL rpg multiplayer games when your not playing your character

All i know is, ooc on, another game i play, means out of character. It was a type of chat.

In a lot of MMORPG\'s \"roleplaying\" as such is not required. A lot of them you roleplay, but its really just an avatar with skills, and nothing more. Some may have a description of the char, but not nessasarily.

Yes people do do those things and as you stated it isnt necessary,  In my opinion I do it to add a little more background so people do know me a little better.
