i would love to see support for https://mod.io  its a modding standard api made by people from moddb

Unless I'm mistaken, this supports a game connecting into a service which allows browsing and downloading mods.  It doesn't itself facilitate the mods, yes?

To me it also seems that way, but it might be useful nevertheless, for skins and such. Likely not worth the trouble though imo.
