Hey there, I was wanting to sign up for a Wiki account so I could help edit, but I apparently need to go to IRC and hope Talad is there? I'm not well-versed in IRC but it seems that when I go in there it's just a bunch of folks not talking or responding. I'm hoping this is another way I can get registering taken care of. Thanks!

I forget who it was that handles those accounts, but not Talad. Weltall or Uadjet?
Anyways, it has been that way in IRC for a while. The times when people are actually in front of their client are usually mid morning and late evening in UTC-0500.
If you submit your line, someone will review their log and see it. Include their nick so that the line gets highlighted if you want to address someone directly; avoid using /query directly unless you know they are the only person you want to see your message.

Well, the instructions said contact Talad, so I assumed that was who was handling it.
So, you're saying post a message about it, and hope someone reads it and gets back to me, basically?

You can also send Talad an e-mail if you can't catch him online on IRC. info@planeshift.it

Emaline would know better than I. So go with that.
FWIW, I was going from what I vaguely remembered from some time ago. Also, I wasn't really advising on the best way to contact people, but rather the optimal way to do it through IRC.
Again, though, see to Emaline's message above mine.

Thanks, both of you
