Title: Having Problems With The Renderer.
Post by: linuxknight on June 21, 2003, 02:25:45 am
I have tried both the executables of PlaneShift, and the sources, but have not been able to get it to work.  It complains about iGraphics3D which I can\'t get to work correctly.  Alongside, I have also had problems with Jam (dep).  Jam seems to be working, but I can\'t get the thing to even start up.  I try to ./configure && make && make install on the sources, and keep having trouble with the iGraphics plugin.  It says something about a cfg file, which I cant make.  It will not work, no matter how much I try.  I have spent 4-6 hours tryng to compile and recomiple rpms, as well as sources, such as libvga.  It wont work.  Any ideas?

Here Is My System Specs:

in gentoo it works if you run it with:
CRYSTAL=/opt/crystal CEL=/opt/crystal planeshift
...it might work with you too, just change the CEL and CRYSTAL dirs to your own dirs
