Title: Computer Freezing when loading World

Hi!

I\'m having problems with my connection. I installed everything, everything\'s fine. I tried all the Setup options, but still it doesn\'t work. My problem is the following: when I\'ve entered my Username and password, it loads everything until the World. My mouse freezes and nothing happens, no hard-drive loading sound, no brandwith in my modem, nothing. I tried to wait for 40 minutes, nothing! My 3d card drivers (GeForce\'s NVidia) are up to date, and my computer is a P4 with 1.2 gig.

PLEASE HELP ME!! I CAN\'T WAIT TO PLAY!!!

Well, you\'ve waited long enough, important is that you do not switch to another task (i.e. by alt+tab) while loading and initializing the world (textures, characters, etc.).

I didnt swapped thru other applications with Alt+Tab.

Finally, i found a way (dunno how) to log in the game. I was lagging as hell... (maybe im the first human being that had a negative \"fps\"!!! ...well, maybe not negative, but hey, i discovered \"fpm\"!!! O_o )

anyways, i tried everything to lower the lag.

Finally, everything doesnt work anymore... everytime i try to connect, my computer RESTARTS!!!! my HD simply stops!!!

Help Me!!!! thx!!

Well i got into the game, but only one time when i wait forever...

and then it lags like hell, i dont get a thing and im just walkin around without knowing how to open/interact with stuff/doors.

yeah that happened to me also. i logged on and later it jsut crashed for no apparent reason.  i logged on the next day and ever since i\'ve been able to get on just waiting a long while tho.  but the problem might be with your ram.  this game eats up ram fast.  so with your p4 and only 1.2 gigs your ram should be like 128 right? unless you upgraded it or something.  i have the same ram.  jsut make sure no other programs are running and clear as much stuff as you can from the explorer bar.  like msn and other applications.  hope that helps (=

I finally was able to log in after opening up port 13331 udp and setting compatibility to 98, and then I was lagged so badly when I was finally dropped in that the game was more than unplayable.

Athlon XP 1.6Ghz
256 DDR 2700
40gig 7200rpm hd
GeForce Ti4600 128mb
WinXP

Any ideas?  I\'d like to be able to log in...
