Title: Accounts will be deleted?

Someone tell me that for the final release all accounts will be deleted.
Is this true?
And then, all the players like me that are everyday connected collecting crystals, are we wasting time?
And what happens with who finished the 1st quest and his prices?

I\'m interested in an official reply from any member of MB.

Probably they will be..  the game is far from the end .. and until there.. a lot of things will change ...

Now is only a Pre-Alpha basically to find bugs and fix .. nothing more ...

Yup... the accounts will be deleted... i think even when Cristal blue will be relesed too... but its for our own good :)

for me that is good because only just starting out :P but for you guys i feel sorry for you having to spend all that time wasting it on doing vertually nothing because ur acounts will be deleted......

there\'s nothing wasteful about it, the more we push the system, the more bugs we\'ll find in it, which is very helpful, oh, and the devs have said they\'re giving consideration to rewarding those that have put a lot of time into this. but they\'re not sure what.

so far me know they will not be deleated with the next release,,, but that was told me 3 months ago so it might be out of date

The wipe-out is a good thing.. I do now own 3 characters and I\'m not satishified with any of em\'.

But I don\'t think the wipeout is exactly when the game reached v1.0 It should be when the game reaches a new stage (AB, MB, CB)..

They may not delete accounts with many crystals or weopons..

well, I read one of them say recently the database would be wiped on release of CB, he also said if it was up to him, it would be wiped every three months to keep people from getting attached to their characters

A good idea.

As for rewarding, I think a unique title/item/graphic would be enough. So later u can brag how u r an old-timer and show a proof...

Well I hope they will delete them, because if the game is released someday, they will be the great killers and everyone else will be newbies so it would not be fair.

everyone would be equal apart from on items, nobodies fought anything or lvled up o_O
However im glad there being wiped coz i keep giving my crystals away. (not that id have any more than about 0.3k altogether.)

I agree that at the final release all players begin at level 1, but i think so players that are playing actually testing the game and finding bugs, will be rewarded per helping with the game optimization, letting us to maintain our inventory (rubies we collect while testing and weapons we buy with them).

If MB will delete all accounts, why are we wasting time with the pre-alpha and not wait for the final release to play?

people are collecting crystals and items now to get on the high scores also, to sort of promote themselves and their guilds.

Will Crystal Blue be the final version, or is it just another stage in the ongoing development? I think it is really good that we get to play the game before its official release, because loads of people are coming to the devs with bugs they\'ve found, and if the bugs are found now so they can be fixed for the next version it means the devs themselves dont need to do so much testing and the game will get finished quicker.

Ever needs to be released?

Can\'t it just always be in an open beta stage where you won\'t have a character wipe?

Games like CS really started to suck after they released it. Isn\'t making money the only reason for having an actual release?
