I got W98, Intel Pentium III 450 mghz, Soundblaster Audio PCI 128, Matrox Milennium.
Can i do something to fix all the laaaaaaag?
-
How much RAM do you have? PS requires LOTS of RAM..
-
128 in RAM. I hope it goes <=(
-
it goes kinda smooth in the OpenGL mode, but it stops responding after a few seconds....
-
Well IMO you could use a lot more.. I only use 256 and the game\'s still a bit choppy at times... sometimes it runs completely without lag..
-
Im gonna buy(after my PS2) a new processor. That wouldnt help for PS, i suppose, but can you improve your RAM by something? Or is it dead and i can give up?

specs:
cpu: XP 1600
ram: 640mb pc2100
vid: gf4 ti4200
hd: 40g ata133 interface (w/add in card)
connection: 600k-1.2mbit/136k
i myself am experiancing tremendously slow frame rates. so far i\'ve tried around 10PM central US time and at 6PM.
i\'ve also tried the lowest resolution with 16 bit color, both openGL and sowftware rendering.

well you should be able to run the game just fine... My specs are lower than yours.. only 256 megs of ram, and I run it fine... although sometimes I do get very low framerates... It\'s a problem everyone complains about, but it\'s going to be improved in the future...
