Title: Could not create player entity

I tried logging on today, it get\'s to initializing world, then I get a message saying the server could not create your player entity.  Is this just a temporary thing or do I have a serious problem?

yup i got the same thing, yesterday it was fine and all but just 10 minutes ago it kept saying that......

and i was excited to play cuz it didn\'t lag on me anymore and i thought my comp sucked! specs:

Pentium 3 551mhz
256 Mb RAM
32mb ATI Rage Graphics Card
56k dial up

yea mine too i have the same repliy dont know whas happenig it just says \"cannot create player entity please contact tec support\"please tell me whats happening???

I also am having this problem.  I have run the updater as well, so it shouldn\'t be a problem with not having the most current files.

I also tried to create a new character in case it was a database problem with my character being corrupted or missing, but I got the same error.

Perhaps its just something temporary problem with the server. I doubt that it has anything to do with the updater or creating a new character, since Giladrial has been playin\' PS for a looong time.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn\'t the only one having this problem.  If we\'re all getting this, then it\'s probably already known about and I\'m sure the dev\'s will have it fixed before we know it. :)

When I first started searching, there were no posts about it, I clicked the back button a few times to get back to main Tech Help page and then I see...
a thread started by the beast himself!

I get the same message as you guys.
I tried uploading Dewman, and I got the same message.

I dunno what else to say...

I was less than 100 from a broadsword...

I sure hope it gets fixed soon...

My guess is the Devs are doing something to the server or database and set it so that there are no logins at the moment...it would explain the problem some.

As far as I know there has been no official word from any of the Devs on this issue.  If it is a tech support issue then we will have to wait for their response.  I wish I could give you a definite answer, sorry.

Well... i tried to connect twice today unsuccesfully.

It was the first time i was playing Planeshift... Hem i haven\'t played Planeshift yet, just been bloqued to the player creation screen.


Hope this is just a hack of devs to stop accounts creation for today...

I reckon it\'s something the devs are doing, because half an hour ago I tried to log on and it had a different message to do with the server being down or something. They probably took the server down then to do something, and maybe they\'re doing something to the actual game (please God) and making sure no-one sees.

nope i just tryed 2 more times out of fustration im getting realy crazy now im realy stuck on things to do i have to warn everyone i turn in to the real seperot the one from ff7 if i get too crazy and no one whants that to happen belive me
