Title: Wanna create a guild?

Anyone want to help me create a guild? I have experience in webdesign and graphic design so i will make us a website.  If you are interested in creating a guild post here, PM me, email me, or IM me. I hope to hear from you soon. Please also specify if you bring anything special to the guild. The first few will be part of the guild council and be admins. Well that\'s all I have to say for now. When I get enough people for the council we will decide on a name/purpose etc.

well, I might be interested in finding a guild, but as it\'s doubtful I\'ll be able to play the final release unless I get my finances straightened out, I\'ll pass.

Incidentally, you could do very well in the guild Bonez mentioned... they probably could use those skills of yours well.

personally, I think that it\'s a great idea to make a new guild, there need to be more of them. just on principle... I mean, who knows, when there are more servers who can say we\'ll all be playing the same one?

If your making guild which is mainly for mages, you should first concider Arcane Order http://koti.mbnet.fi/syvis , it\'s only for players who are mainly mages.

There is no reason why you can\'t create your own guild, after all variety is the spice of life! May I suggest you have a think about purpouse, a name, guild levels and such. Invent a history for your guild, give your character some depth with a bio and draw up a guild charter, something that new people can read to see where your guild stands.

Create the site, put the bio and charter up and post a thread here with your new guild name and link the site.

Then go to Yliakum and talk to players. Go to the spawns and help out some new people, ask them if they are interested in your guild and it\'s values. I have no doubt that if you have a well defined guild there will be some who have similar values and will jump at the chance to join it and help make a mark in the realm. Stay in character and spend some time in Planeshift, get exposure and you will gain respect and perhaps even fame (or notoriety if your guild is aligned so) in no time you may have a following, and you will be on your way to wresting the number one spot from those who have it!

If Pooky can become well known and have a guild even with a slightly silly name, then anyone can. You never know if you don\'t try!

Once again, may I say I look forward to seeing this new guild... :)

Great idea Kathmor, I might be interested. Have already joined a guild but still have to see how well it functions. In principle I\'m for it.

Maybe you me and Tiger should get together online and discuss the idea. DONT GIVE UP!

also i could use a little help on the new guild website... i got most of it done just need to keep it updated and stuff.. we got a personal server for our website with tons of space and unlimited ftp accounts.. the whole package.. we are also creating a php member database with customizable member pages etc.. its gonna be sweet :D

I wasn\'t wrong Bonez, he did become well known and created a guild.

I know he left, some people were talking about it but if you are going to start getting into the gritty details, didn\'t a couple of his core members start out in Legendary Warriors, then quit the guild to follow Pooky? :D (Maybe he had a better offer heh)

It\'s true we are going to have member pages (eventually, but we\'ve started, I made a simple sample template)

Xalthar: I was considering joining you guys, too bad you can\'t be in two guilds at once (unless you are a sub-guild of lw).  One thing, if you want me to join, your site needs buttons! :P

I\'d recommend Legendary warriors (duh :P ).  They have very active players and a nice community.  (And they have nice forums, opportunity for advancement, a nice player guide (thanks grakrim), and even though there\'s 70-something members they\'ll remember your name :D)

Yeah I didn\'t join because I\'m happy where I am.  Legendary Warriors is simply an awesome guild.  Though your total-and-complete lack of buttons annoys me too.  (Seriously, that little menu gets on your nerves)

Ok. I have started working on my new guild but it isn\'t ready to be released to the public. I now need a council of about five people or so to help me with decisions/ideas/etc. They will be the leaders of the guild. If you are interested please post here, pm me, IM me, or email me.
