Title: where do i put the IP add

i just want to try the solution that was adviced in another forum.  it tells me to put the IP instead of the name.  how do i do this?  i am not a computer expert at this type of fixing.

just do a ping on planeshift.fragnetics.com. It\'ll give you this ip: 203.81.47.27
You can try it if you want, though it is not recommended. The ip is subject to change, so it would be best not to use it.

ok. so it\'s not advisable to put the IP, but it still doesn\'t let me in. are there any other servers availlable?

What exactly goes wrong while connecting?
