Title: A place for evil..............

In all the time ive been playing online games ive found that i tend to be more suited to roleplaying the villain(probebly due to always being the GM for my friends back in my old pen&paper RP days).

So.........i was probebly going to start an evil guild of some description.At the moment i dont really know enough about Planeshifts History to put together a theme for the group(ive read the stuff on the site, i like it but will wait awhile in the hopes there will be more added),but i have plenty of time to work on that.

For now i would just like to know if i should bother putting the effort into forming  such a group.Will evil roleplayers(not l33t d3wd$) be welcome in PS and be successfuly playable.Or will this be a world where everyone is expected to be warm and pleasent towards there neighbours?.

For example  say i formed the \'Redemptionists\' a kult of extremists dedicated to avenging the defilment of our beutifull goddess Laanx\'s face by Talads arrogance.Would we be able/allowed to hunt down all kran,who we believe are Talads phyisical embodiment in Yliakum(of course the good aligned guilds probebly might try to stop us,which could lead to further conflict  :D ).Of course we are still PKs \'cept we believe we are in the right(hehe so were a religious,rock hating mob....nobodies perfect  :P ) and will roleplay to that effect.

Basicly i just would like to know if the developers think that such a group will be possible as ive read some stuff  mentioning \'dueling only\' which would render the afore mentioned group pointless  :(

Im hoping it will be possible,though i think i would still play if it wasnt,as it adds some nice player interaction/player run storyline to the game and is also a little more believeble than a world where the worst you can do is a let loose a well thought insult  ;)

P.S.
Would the you other players and \'good\' guilds welcome an evil group.Since you always go on about \'protecting the innocent\' and \'wiping out evil\' here would be a chance to prove it  :P

I think it would be fantastic to have some properly played evil guild activity. I think you need the whole range off allignments to make a place interesting and from what you said things would certainly be that. I hope what you gave is only an example, I liked it, but I wouldn\'t fancy every Kran in the area banding together and knocking at my door (better have very strong doors ;))

It seems we lost our serious attempt at evil with Wolfman - he always seemed quite nice about the evil thing though ;)  - where\'d you go Wolfy?

I\'m sure you will have no shortage of guild applicants as well, as the good guilds definately out number the evil at the moment.

being a \'bad guy\' might not pay off really....with all this talk about bountys for anyone who pk\'s kinda take the fun out of it.
there was another guy that tried the same thing...no one else wanted to be a \'bad guy\' so he is not around anymore.
there is a need for u bad guys tho....so i hope u find somekind of help ;)

Bounties are only talk of ideas. I don\'t see any reason why an evil character, played properly, couldn\'t benefit from from his choice of evil ways. Sure the path of evil might prove to be a harder one, especially in towns.
But aren\'t those the kind of accepted risks you take when you choose to do wrong - you risk being caught and punished :P

If you end up being able to make the desicion to roleplay in an evil way in the game, I\'m sure the developers will ensure things are nicely balanced out.

Seriously though,it doesnt bother me playing at such a disadvantage.Ive been playing this way for years and i enjoy it.My aim is to die as spectacularly as possible,cursing the names of the the mighty heroes who have finally bested me.(doing so has never proved to be as easy as people always claim hehe).

ya....ya.....ya.......i was a real jackass on rs cuz i had all kinds of mad power i could kill jsut bout 95% of the players there....but i think ill behave myself on ps..atleast....for now.. ;)    nah ima be a \'good guy\' some of my clanmates will prolly make sure of it. hahahah

but i will only go with this if ther are more volunteers for the evil guilds

as for the pking I think it\'s rpg pking so it should be allowed but khemri whe evil guild members shouild stick together at all times when the game comes out cause U are not so easily captured by bounty hunters when U are in a group

id just liek ta say i been reading these forums when i get bored.....and this new generation of \'bad guys\' seems a bit pathetic. i might have to come back and show u all how u do it correctly sometime.
not all of u seem like half witted children tho this ninkwi njadro guy seems like he would be a pretty respectable bad guy.
and is it just me or is it that the more popular the person was in some other game the more arrogant and childlike his actions are....i mean i look at this guy dumb woob and i am disgusted. that spunky monky dude was a jackass as well....but i have to admit he made me giggle. :evil:
anyways i think i said my piece...\'bad guys\' of PS if more people join this evil guild id absolutely LOVE to help u demolish them evil kran....i say we enslave the kran!!! :evil:

Hehe,Wolfman.All i can say is that 5+ years of online Killing,looting and other various forms of carnage has taught me a thing or two about the PK life,running PK Clans and how i like others to percieve me.

Just \'cuz i dont flame folks,$p3ak l33tly,swear and boast on this forum doesnt mean im a gentle soul ingame .......far from it.

At the moment  though im more interested in making (hopefully useful) suggestions for the game rather than getting into character( so far i havnt decided what sort of person ill be).

So next time dont judge someone so swifty,there may come a time ingame where you find a blood crazed fanatical diaboli screaming the \'hyms of martyred fluffy bunnys(??dont ask :D ??) at you whilst he disembowels you with a rusty blunt spoon  ;)  and you might think twice about calling me a soft touch.

.............Unless ofcourse we are on the same side,then ill make sure its not a rusty spoon  ;)

With regards to forming an evil clan,i had alrady started on a guild site but my web skills are really rusty  :(
 As things are i was probebly gonna leave forming a guild till the beta phase,though i may change my mind now.Hopefully you me and ninkwi might be able to start something good err i mean nasty...no EVIL, ahhh well you know what i mean hehe.
