Title: Looking for something to entertain? Take up clothesmaking...
Post by: Ayshe on July 08, 2003, 09:28:03 am
Inspired by Mogura\'s excellent guide (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=4575&boardid=13), I decided to put some warmer clothes on :).

This is me in my new outfit (it\'s still a bit rough though). What do you think? the chains suspiciously look a bit like lace, but I\'m working on that... and a few other issues.

Thanks to Mogura for the idea, and Draklar for the above screencap.

Final textures for the Enkidukai females (the four colours are a lot closer to the original skins, and I spent a lot more attention to shading and detail)

Cool skins, i  especially like the claw print on the back of the second one, shame it doesnt fit the normal shape so wont work with changing skins :/ still, id rather use yours and alter all four ;) :D

Well while this is up heres something i made a while back, ignore the head I was messing about, but the clothes are imo pretty good, didnt use as many original textures as i would have liked to though. Its basically the swordsman outfit from ragnarok

Actually, the major part of the design was writing software to alter the lib file that does the skin shapes

The skin is fully functional. I changed the clothing mask file -  meaning that it displays properly for all 16 possible combinations

Don\'t believe me? Check out these two pics, of the lighter skinned fur with two different coloured clothes

Aren\'t I just a clever kitty :D

Ayshe\'s quick and dirty 7 step skinning guide

Repeat steps 2 - 6 for the other three skins

Step 7 is the killer - convert the mask file (step 1) into an XML file. View racelib.xml to see what must be done.
