Title: Why is it that the service is so slow for me?

I haven\'t been playing for very long, yet I\'ve been having a most difficult time getting around in PlaneShift, Molecular Blue. Logging on and loading \"world\" etc. also takes well over 2-3 minutes. Is there something at my end that I can do about this?

uhm no... Consider yourself lucky that the game loads in 2-3 minutes... some have loading times up to 40 minutes, and the first time you log in it can have up to 2 hours of loading time...

Indeed, apparently this is due to Planeshift having to go through all of it\'s files configuring itself the first time you connect, or some such procedure. For me, the load time is never much more than one minute (took five minutes first time). However, as Xalthar said, some people just draw shorter straws. :(
