I tried to connect, but it didn\'t let me, and then I saw this, and then I click the link and it didn\'t let me. the browser just froze, do I need to remake a character? or fix this one....I\'m getting sad cause I really like this game i__i email me if you know RuttoSSJ@yahoo.com

Just give your login and someone will delete it for you. Note that after, you must create another char. Deleting the account is just to free your pseudo

After that remake it and try to log in again.

When deleting my account ,it says remooving and never says finish remooving !how long is this suposed to take? ?(

OK! no matter how long you wait it will never say finish removing , but its is removed anyway!
ive tried mutiple time to create a character but its gives me the Linkdead thing witch by the way is quite easy to remove, juste go to psclient.exe do properties on it and change to win98/me! after that operation i always get the other message \'Error database account\' .......................how many time will i have to create new characters????
its geting late and my eyes are bleeding......need some help please!

Im getting run in circles here.
I create a new account, get linkdead, fix that, i get Databse error, delete my account, create a new one and start all over........Wtf am i doing wrong?

ok i am having 2 problems first it, sthe same thing about it telling me that there is an error with looging in and to remove my crit.
but the other thing is that when i log in when i boot it up in my ms-dos propt it says a few things that i don\'t think it should say:
No CEL environment variable set
Warning: failed to load csddsimg Use \'-verbose argument for details

And a little request: please don\'t crosspost problems you experience. People will have to reply them several times (which is not very appreciated), and it\'s just not necessary. There are enough people around so chances are pretty good someone will find your question, not the answer and reply actually. ;)

everytime i create a new char i get the dead link message, is it my pc or summit? coz on one of the accounts for a split second logged in, but then gave the error, i\'ve set my firewall to let connection for it. It\'s really getting on my nerves >_<

....hehe...I have a Very serous problem... I did al the client download stuff, but not once did i see anything about a Account. I looked all over the main site and found nothing of the sort...Can someone please help me with this? its quite frustrating...Thank you

Ok, So once im done with the makeing the char i click back correct? thats the only option i have ... or am i missing something else here?

Ok, I finally downloaded this program up, Got the setup going, followed the step-by-step instructions, got everything running exept now the problem comes up! So, I decided to come here to figure this out.
The problem-
When I try to connect my character to the server or while its in the process od connecting, or somewhere around there, it does the one of the following:
-Messes up and turns my desktop into a completely black screen and aster like 5 min. it closes down on me
-Sometimes it says my database is wrong or something (Common problem)
-Freezes up my computer and never moves....I actually waited over night for this! It doesnt do anything!
Btw, I use windows 98 if that helps at all...
Hope you can help me out :)
Oh yea, I also delted my account like 5 times and it comes up with the same thing. But, never done it fast.... Testing....
Edit- Ok, I tested that. Now it comes up with \"Already connected to server, if you were disconnected wait 80 sec. and reconnect\". -That was prbably when I kept trying. So, what do I do now?
Edit! I figured something out that may resort to my type of probelm. I read the linked thread made by the first person who has posted. I can now understand another reason why people cant get through step d!
Ok, here it goes.
a) you upload your character
b) the server gets this message and creates the account for it
c) the server sends a message back
d) the client gets this message
e) the client sends the player create information
f) the server creates the player
Whoever has a private network (In their IP address there should be X.XXX not XXX.XXX at the end), then those people cant do step d or e.
For people who dont know what a private network is-
A private network is usually made when you have more than one computer in your house or if you share your modem with another computer (Very common). This is to protect your network from other networks around the net. When you share a file no one can see that file but the computer your modem is shared with or whoever is allowed to connect to your computer. For most people who cannot create servers is other online games, you probably have a private network because you cannot send things to other computer inless you have a certain device.
So, in other words, people with private networks may not be able to go through step d and e so, this may result to creating account pproblems.
Wow, I didnt even notice I wrote this much. Well, I hope that helps solve some problems. And remember, stop thinking its all firewalls. I dont even have a fire wall and people are telling me that the problem! Well, hope you can fix that up for these people...

When I create a new character this message appear : \"You are already logged on to this server. If you were disconnected, please wait 30 seconds and try again\" !
Then when I try to connect to the server with my character an other message appear \"There is an error in the data base ...\"
Whate I have to do?I created more than 5 characters and there was everytime the same response!

Well I for one am glad that we got that figured out.
But we (the private network people who greatly want to connect) are still stuck with the problem >> WE CAN NOT PLAY THE FREAKIN\' GAME << and it hurts too.
Anyways, the question is \"Do we have a chance to play Planeshift while on these private networks?\"
And if so, what must we do to fix this problem so we can play this game and all the other online games that we are missing out on?

I see, its an an alpha stadium and i?ve these problems, all describe in this thread.
My question: is there any better way to fix this? i dont want to delete my char...

Whenever I try logging in my char it says \"database error\" but when I try deleting it it won\'t allow me. What\'s wrong?

when i try to to delete my char, it says \'this account is valid\'. but when i try to login it says \'there is an error in the database of your account\'. WTF!

Make sure you\'re spelling the name correctly, both when you try to delete and when you\'re trying to log in the game.
Asides from that, I have no idea why it would say your account is valid. You could always just create a new one. :) To my knowledge, accounts are only corrupt if you linkdead while uploading a new char. However, if your account has been working for a while and then you received a database error, you might want to speak to the devs directly to retrieve your items/crystals.

I\'m glad this forum is here. Before I got Cybio on I created about six other names that always went link dead before connecting. Now I can remove them all.

hey i cant enter the game it say a error something...i looked on the forums to delate my char and it says...:error Lepant is in a bad country.WTF will i have to go to the states to play it????

i have am tring to creat an acount and every time i have made a new one its data base is errored and i have tryed this 3 times and deleated 3 acounts, how do i fix this?

How you stop getting database errors depends entirely on what you have already tried. I assume that by posting on this thread, you have actually read it, correct? Have you looked for the answer elsewhere in these forums, by looking down the \"Important:\" list or using the Search button?

Hey i Can\'t log in at all i am just starting off and it says you don\'t have the correct version to run on this server.
So how do i get the server or version. Yes i have crystal blue and i followed the driections on the download page on the main site downloads page.
